Obidos

Obidos is a beautiful medieval town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. This town is a few minutes drive from the villa.

It is a tourist attraction where a number of events are organized throughout the year, such as the chocolate festival and the medieval festival.

The Obidos lagoon extends to Foz de Arelho, where it opens into the sea.

You can walk and cycle around the lagoon.

In Foz de Arelho there is a beautiful boulevard with restaurants and the beach is ideal for children.

It is a large city where you can go for all your groceries in the many supermarkets, located on the outskirts of the city.

In the center there are many restaurants, shops and there is a daily market.

One of the many surf spots on the Silver Coast.

Here you will find the spectacular high waves thanks to a canyon in the sea off the coast of Nazaré.

Peniche: boats depart every day from the port of Peniche to the Berlenga Islands.

Leiria: a city a little more to the north with a pleasant center and a castle that is worth a visit.

Lisbon: the capital is an hour's drive from Obidos, ideal for a day trip.

Here is also the airport, Humberto Delgado, where you can rent a car at one of the many offices.
